Do you want to remove your lash extensions, but don’t have the time or money to go to see a professional? Well, this blog post will show you how to remove eyelashes extensions at home. With these simple steps that can be done right, you will be able to remove those pesky lashes and get back on track with life. Just read on for our 5 step guide as below!

Step 1: Wash Your Face

Rinse your face as you normally would. Avoid scrubbing your eye region since this might harm your eyelashes. The goal of this step is to remove any mascara or eye makeup that has accumulated on the eyelash extensions.

Step 2: Use Steam

Fill a wide bowl with boiling water. Cover your head with a towel to trap the steam and place your face over it. Allow it to rest for a few minutes to loosen up the eyelash extension glue connection.

Step 3: Warm the Oil

Fill a small dish with oil and set it aside. Coconut oil produces the best results when removing lash extensions, but vegetable oil, olive oil, and castor oil can also be used.

The next stage is to gradually heat the oil. You don’t want the oil to be too hot since you’ll be handling the highly sensitive eye region. Check the temperature by dipping your clean pinky finger into the oil. A mild warmth is enough for this procedure to proceed quickly.

Step 4: Soak the Pads in Water

The warm oil should be soaked on one to two cotton pads next. After that, place the oiled cotton pad on your eye, over your lashes. Allow it to stay for five to ten minutes, or as long as the cotton pad takes away the heat.

Gently swipe the oily pad on your upper lash line. Let it sit for a few minutes.

Step 5: Remove Lash Extensions

Using the same cotton pad, carefully swipe your lash line again. You should notice a few lash extensions coming off and staying in the cotton pad.

I cannot emphasize enough that you should take great care when applying extensions to your natural lashes. If the extensions do not come off on their own, do not attempt to tug on them. A professional will be required to remove them for you.

You may also try coconut oil to remove your eyelash extensions, as it did in the videos instruction below.

Conclusion

Now you know how to remove lash extensions at home. With these simple steps, you will be able to do so in a matter of minutes and get back on track with life!
